A Wisconsin witness traveling along Highway 18 near Dousman reported watching a "glowing refrigerator-size object moving across the snow covered corn field" just 40 feet from his vehicle about 11:50 p.m. on March 19, 2013, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network ( MUFON ) witness reporting database.
The witness was driving home from a friend's house in Waukesha and was headed toward Oconomowoc when the incident occurred.
"Noticed light in the field moving toward the road I was driving on," the witness stated. "The light appeared to be constant luminescent. As it got closer I was able to tell it was hovering and appeared to be about the size of a refrigerator."
The witness slowed his vehicle down as he approached the object.
"My lights on the dash began to flicker along with lights of the vehicle. The object continued in a straight path across the road and into a wooded area. I lost track of the glowing object when it entered the wooded area."
The witness immediately called his parents about what had just happened and was home within 15 minutes.
No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on March 20, 2013. Dousman is a village in Waukesha County, population 2,302.

Driving home from a friends in Waukesha,Wisconsin to Oconomowoc, WI traveling on Hwy 18 near the city of Dousman in my Ford Explorer around 11:50 PM. Noticed light in field moving toward the road I was driving on. The light appeared to be constant luminiscent. As it got closer I was able to tell it was hovering and appeared to be about the size of a refrigerator. I slowed my vehicle before coming to close to the object. My lights on the dash began to flicker along with lights of the vehicle. The object continued in a straight path across the road and into a wooded area. I lost track of the glowing object when it entered the wooded area. I called my parents very concerned about what I had just seen. I arrived home about 15 minutes later.
