It was reported on April 19, 2013, that a 23-year-old Kenyan trapeze artist by name Karo Christopher Kazungu survived an 85-foot fall while performing at Moscow circus.
Kazangu narrated the shocking incident that happened last month at a news conference in Moscow. Watch video .
He practiced for three years for this stunt, but while trying to perform the complicated, risky act on March 13, he lost control and fell 85-feet to the ground.
Inspite of a safety net in place, Kazangu fell with such velocity that he ripped through the net and and fell to the ground.
He survived with grievous injuries but did not die. The video was uploaded on to YouTube with a description, "A Kenyan trapeze artist who fell to the ground from a height of 85 feet while performing at the Moscow circus last month says he is healing and will eventually return to work."
The video stunned many particularly those who make their livings performing dangerous stunts in circuses and other places.
