The Fox News reported on April 11, 2013, that a 79-year-old Michigan woman Evie Branan woke up from coma after five years and said she want to go to a Bob Seger concert.

Branan said in interview to the Flint Journal, "Why would I say that?, Maybe my last thoughts were Bob Seger before I had my stroke."

She elaborated: “I don’t know anything about what happened to me, only that I had a stroke and I didn’t remember anything for five-and-a-half years”

Bob Seger’s officials will be sending her a limousine to come to the concert.

Reportedly, Branan went into a coma in 2007 after she fell down from a stairs. She has been under treatment and recovering her memory since then.

The doctors at Willowbrook Manor nursing home where Branon stays were pleasantly surprised at her strange request.

Michelle Cross, the administrator at the Willowbrook Manor said, “I’ve never seen this ,and it was just something that was really touching to me.

That this lady had lost a lot of her life, and she’s getting it back, but I wanted to give her what she missed.”

Beran is very excited to attend the concert, she said, “I’m so excited I can hardly breathe. What am I looking forward to the most? Hugging Bob Seger and giving him a big smooch.”
