The Australian actor Paul Hogan filed a lawsuit following the stealth of $34 million cash, reports the Inquisitr on April 16, 2013.

He played the role of plain-speaking, weathered Dundee in the 1986 movie named upon the character.

The 73-year-old Aussie star has filed the case in a US court. Reportedly, his $34 million are held in a Swiss bank account. Philip Egglishaw, his former tax advisor is held responsible for the loss of cash.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, an international warrant is already out for Egglishaw, also known as “bowler hat Englishman.”

Hogan’s US advisers accuse Egglishaw of setting some complex structures to assist the clients in evading tax.

According to Swiss newspaper Le Matin Dimanche, the account number 379865 at the Corner Bank in Lausanne, also called “The Carthage Trust,” holds $34 million of Crocodile Dundee’s money. Hogan has no rights to access the cash.

Hogan’s lawyers have made the statement that Egglishaw has either “decamped” with his missing $34m or just spent it all.

The Inquisitr quoted an email from US lawyer Schuyler Moore representing Hogan to Egglishaw’s lawyer in Geneva, Paul Gully-Hart, with the following matter:

“The actions of Egglishaw have now crossed the boundary of legality, and he is now engaging in criminal fraud, theft, and breach of fiduciary duty, and you are now directly aiding and abetting his criminal actions.

"The Carthage Trust’s beneficiary [Hogan] is not going to stand idly by in the face of this theft, and he is going to take every step possible in every country possible to hold Egglishaw, Strachans, you, and your firm liable and brought to account.”

Do you think Hogan will get his $34m back?
