It was reported on April 21, 2013, that actress Reese Witherspoon and her husband James Toth were arrested and jailed Friday morning at Peachtree Street in Atlanta, Ga.
Toth was driving in the driving lane while he was drunk and Witherspoon was seen waving her hands from outside the window of the car.
Toth revealed to the officer that he had just one drink earlier, Toth blew a .139 when he was put for a Breathalyzer test at the scene.
Police officer Pyland said in his report, "Mrs. Witherspoon began to hang out the window (of her car) and say that she did not believe that I was a real police officer. I told Mrs. Witherspoon to sit on her butt and be quiet."
Both of them were released at 3:30 a.m. on Friday morning. They will have to appear at an Atlanta Municipal Court which is scheduled on 8:00 a.m. Monday morning.
Yahoo news quoted Witherspoon as asking the officer, "Do you know my name? You're about to find out who I am. You are going to be on national news."
Witherspoon and Toth are married since two years and have a son. Witherspoon is also having two children from her previous husband.
