The CS Monitor on May 2, 2013, reported that officials in New Zealand have released an updated list of banned baby names .

William Shakespeare said “What is in a name?” but if baby’s name is ‘Anal’, 'full stop' or any other such bizarre name, then the name matters a lot.

It is the one of the most difficult tasks to name the baby. However, all the parents do not take it seriously.

Looking at this, the authorities in New Zealand have released a list of the banned baby names.

According to the reports, from the list of 77 names, one of the parents wanted to name their child ‘Anal’.

However, the Department of Internal Affairs did not let them do so.

Other suggested wired banned names were 'Lucifer', 'Mafia No Fear' and 'Queen Victoria'.

The name ‘Justice’ had been put down 62 times.

Furthermore, some parents suggested the names of their children with '2nd', '3rd' or 5th' all put forward.

Quoting a spokeswoman from the Department of Social Protection, the CS Monitor mentioned,

“Parents who wish to assign a name that would be considered obscene, blasphemous, or otherwise inappropriate would be advised of this by the registrar that this is the case.”
