Yahoo! news reported on May 02, 2013 that Chris Kelly, 34, part of the kid rap duo Kris Kross in 1990s is dead.


Kelly made one of the most memorable songs of the decade 'Jump'.


Betty Honey of the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office said that Kelly was pronounced dead around 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Atlanta Medical Center.


The authorities are not sure of what caused Kelly's death as an autopsy is yet to be performed.


Kelly and Chris Smith, known as 'Mac Daddy' and 'Daddy Mac' respectively were brought to the music world by music producer and rapper Jermaine Dupri in 1992.


He discovered the pair in an Atlanta mall. Kelly and Chris wore their clothes backwards as a gimmick and won over fans with their raps.


Their most successful song was 'Jump' and scored their first multi-platinum in their first album 'Totally Krossed Out'.


The duo got instant fame and they toured with Michael Jackson and even

had their own video game.


They had other hits like 'Warm It Up' and 'Tonite's tha Night' but were never able to meet the success of their first song,
