The Huffington Post reported on May 13, 2013, that the 28-year-old pop star Katy Perry joined in singing with Mick Jagger at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday for Rolling Stones concert.


Normally fans do not expect Katy Perry and Mick Jagger to perform on the same stage, but the Rolling Stones "50 and Counting" have been bringing together several seemingly-mismatched big-name acts.


Katy performed "Beast of Burden" with Jagger and his band-mates for their "50 and Counting" tour and she seemed pretty excited about the experience.


Post the show, Katy took to Twitter and tweeted a photo of herself with Mick Jagger and his band that includes Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts.


She thanked for letting her be the 5th wheel at the concert along with the picture. Another post read "Mick & Kate forever!"


The "50 and Counting" tour has been filled with surprise guests that so far and have included Gwen Stefani of No Doubt fame and Tom Waits.


Katy tweeted to her fans, "Yes, I just did gyrated on Mick Jagger. WHAT?! #Stones50."


She also tweeted a photo of herself and Mr. Jagger, and wrote, "Mick & Kate forever! Thanks for letting me be the 5th wheel last night! @Rollingstones."
