The MSN reported on May 28, 2013, that an apology has been issued by the chairman and CEO of Papa John's to a Florida customer on Monday for a racist voicemail.

A customer in Sanford, Fla. was surprised hearing racist terms when he checked his voicemail on Sunday night. Click here to listen to the voicemail.

The customer had received his pizza delivery from Papa John's and got a voicemail from the driver who had just delivered his pizza.

The driver had accidentally called the customer, who is black. Without knowing, that he is on a call, the driver started bad-mouthing the customer and his wife to a co-worker using racist terms.

He then started singing the lyrics of the "The Marriage of Figaro" by replacing the overture with racial slurs.

Irked by the driver, the customer recorded and posted the video of the voicemail online.

Since then, Papa John's CEO John Schnatter had offered an apology on Facebook.

No prizes for guessing that the driver and his co-worker have been fired subsequently.
