According to Focus Taiwan , production of the HTC One is increasing significantly this month, as the previous component supply issues get better.
HTC North Asia president Jack Tong said that production in May will double, compared to April.
“Our capacity is expected to rise significantly starting from mid-May,” he said at a news conference. “We are optimistic about our high-end sales during April and June.”
HTC is facing plenty of competition from Samsung, whose Galaxy S4 is proving quite popular, while the S3 and Note II are still favorites, as well as from Apple's iPhone 5.
HTC is also earning solid revenue from its regional 5-inch HTC Butterfly, which has seen an increase of 50 percent this month after a recent price cut.
