The USA Today reported on August 25, 2013, that former Disney star Miley Cyrus’s performance raised some eyebrows at the MTV Video Music Awards at Brooklyn's Barclay Center on Sunday.
The performance seemed to be Cyrus’s another attempt to remind her fans that she is no longer a Disney star but has grown up as a voluptuous woman.
In the first performance the 20-year-old star was seen flaunting a furry teddy bear leotard giving the audience an eye-candy of her fully toned arms and legs. She was seen dancing among enormous teddy bears.
However, in her second performance with Robin Thicke on the latest chartbuster "Blurred Lines", she stripped down to nude-colored two-piece.
She used a foam finger during this rendition and made several lewd gestures as she gyrated along Thickie.
One of the audiences snapped the reaction of Rapper Will Smith and family at her performance and posted online. The reaction is obviously of getting shocked at the awful performance.
The outcome of the performance wasn’t promising as Twitter buzzed with expressions of embarrassment for Cyrus. Some people mocked her hair.
The USA Today quoted a tweet from Country star Josh Gracin, saying "Thanks Miley Cyrus. Now I have to explain to my 11 yr old daughter why she no longer can follow your career."
