A video of the supposed new iPhone 5S and 5C has surfaced yesterday, courtesy of AppAdvice The video compares the body styling of the phones expected to be officially announced during an Apple press conference on September 10 with that of the already released iPhone 5. The only obvious variation is in the cheaper 5C, as the body is made of a composite plastic and the edges are more curved. Of course, anything put out there prior to the official word from the company should be taken with a grain of salt. However, the empty shells shown in the video appear to be congruent with other images that have leaked over the past couple of months.

The rounded, plastic casing of the lower-priced iPhone 5C is shown here in a pale blue color. At launch, the device targeted to lower-middle income consumers will also be available in black, green, pink, white, or yellow. Some speculate this iteration of the iPhone will not include voice-controlled Siri functionality. On the other hand, the iPhone 5S is rumored to be available in a champagne gold color, silver, black, or white when it hits shelves. Unlike the 5C, it's also expected to boast an A7 processor, a chip that is apparently 31% faster than the A6 found in current iPhones. Reports claim the A7 processor may also come in a 64-bit variation, which would better manage phone memory and increase graphic quality. Another noticeable feature that falls in line with previous speculation is the elongated space for a long overdue dual-LED flash. The home button of the 5S could be capable of reading a user's fingerprint to offer better security.

Again, don't mistake these rumors for fact no matter how compelling the evidence may be or how often they are shared across the internet by reputable sources. We will only know for sure on September 10. Typically, a new iPhone cost $199 with a two-year contract, but Apple started advertising a trade-in program that would allow current owners to trade their iPhones for a discount towards a newer model or other Apple products.
