Samsung took the stage at IFA this year and unveiled their latest iteration of the Galaxy Note, properly named the Galaxy Note III. The mega huge smart phone tablet hybrid (I refuse to use the term "phablet") is back with a screen that's slightly mega bigger and improved guts that will no doubt cause fans of the phone to salivate.

The Note III ups the screen size from 5.5 inches to an astonishing 5.7 inches and boasts 1080p Super AMOLED resolution. The back of the phone will be made of a leather like material, and features a 13 megapixel camera.

Inside the phone are 3GB of RAM, a choice between a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 or 1.9 GHz Exynos Octa CPU processor, and a 3200 mAh battery. It's likely that the Exynos processor will be exclusive to models overseas.

Three colors will be available when the phone is released world wide on September 25 (Some time in October for US and Japan); black, white, and pink.

Software wise, the Note III will have Android 4.3 and Bluetooth 4.0 (the only combination currently compatible with the recently announced Galaxy Gear Smartwatch ), Knox security software, and the ability to connect to LTE Category 4.

All four major networks in the US will carry their own version of the Galaxy Note III.
