I have reviewed many products from Jabra over the last couple of years, from headsets, to speakers and more.
With each new product, come new features that seem to outdo their previous releases and products. Well this newest release, gives Jabra the quintessential WOW factor in the form of the Jabra Sport Wireless Fitness headset It is (as far as my research show) one of the few Bluetooth enabled, stereo headsets that spans platforms and devices (see tested on) all while incorporating a built in FM radio. And one more thing, it takes calls too.
This was paired with and tested on;
An iPhone 4 An iPod Touch 4thgen Honeycomb Android Tablet with Skype Samsung Galaxy Note II Mac Book Air
All paired flawlessly in under 30 seconds in most cases. The great about this Bluetooth device is that you don’t even need a manual. The minute you turn the Jabra Sport it automatically goes into pairing mode and tells you step by step how to pair it with your device.
Once paired, it was time to just listen. The sound out of these little earbuds was nothing short of phenomenal.
Call clarity was no different. Each moment of the conversation was heard in stereo. Not a word was missed.
There is one quality that is not found in many headsets; an FM radio. So lets say you have gone through the 8 gigs of music and have beaten every level on angry birds, now, instead of shutting down, just turn the radio on. Because they are spread apart, the two headsets appear to work as an antenna. There was hardly any static as well.
They include a handy usb charger, several different sizes and styles of earbuds and a small carrying pouch. They boast sweat (not waterproof) resistance, so work out to your hearts content. They are rain and dust proof as well as shock resistance to military specs. They are comfortable enough to forget they are in.
Again, Jabra has outdone themselves. Learn more at www.jabra.com , or stop by your favorite retail outlet and pick up a pair. You can also see the whole Jabra line at Amazon.com .
