The Mountain Lion stopper is upon us. Mac lovers, prepare your Macs and your soul for the arrival of Apple's latest version of its OS X operating system., Apple officials announced in San Francisco today, that OS X 10.9 Mavericks, will be available for download through Apple's Mac App Store and will be free for those currently using Mountain Lion or Lion.
In doing some quick research, it was found that OSx Mavericks was named after the surfing location in northern California . Much like its little brother iOS 7, it brings a lot of cool and ultra-useful features to the tech table
Some of the hottest features include;
The new software includes iBooks, which will allow users to fully sync the books between iPhone and iPad with their Mac computer.
Apple's Maps app will also sync seamlessly with iOS devices, which will allow you to transfer addresses from your laptop to your phone.
Apple's Safari Web browser has also been updated with some new features, including sharing to Twitter and other social media outlets.
Other improvements include the promise of better batter management, allowing up to an hour of extra time. There is also a Finder improvement that allows for tabbed viewing. As far as photo management, you can now tag your photos for organization through all apps. There is also a notification improvement so you can see a summary of what you missed from being away.
