According to a new trend of very light jets (VLJ), the Polish company Metal Masters introduced a very interesting design - the Flaris FS 1.


The mini jet has successfully completed all ground tests und is supposed to do the first flight tests before the end of the yer 2013.


The company intends to manufacture up to ten jets per year. After the first period, this should be increased in accordance with the market situation.


In 2014, the manufacturer wnt to obtain the S1 certificte for two airplanes and hopes to get EASA and FAA approvals within the next three years.


As the company points out, the plane is "the first family business jet on the market" using the "impregnated carbon technology. This is supposed to guarantee an exceptional light weight and strength.


The concept was first introduced at the 2013 Paris air show.
