Never has the Internet been so eager to get their hands on a device and destroy it. This week, it seems as though everyone is talking about the new Apple iPhone 6 Plus. Since announcing the 5.5-inch "phablet" earlier this month, Apple has not been able to catch a break. Unlike Android users, who are long accustomed to smartphones upwards of 5-inches, many iPhone owners have never even held a phone so large. Despite popularity of similarly sized phones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S5, many have complained the iPhone 6 Plus is too large to be practical. Mashable produced a video using a 3D printed model to showcase what it would be like to put it in one's pocket. Now that the phone is in consumer hands, some are finding the device is actually capable of bending. This has gotten the Internet fired up again, dubbing the blunder "bendgate" or "bendghazi," both of which have been consistently trending phrases this week.

Samsung has taken the opportunity to use the iPhone 6 Plus' "bend-ability" to market their own products with a new image depicting an iPhone 6 assuming a "kneeling bow" position before a Galaxy Note 3; the text reads, "Bend to those who are worthy." It's a clever ad which only contributes to what is actually a long history of Apple-bashing advertisements. The company, who has long been at odds with Apple over copyright infringement, posted another ad earlier this month quoting the late Steve Jobs to have said, "No one is going to buy a big phone."

No one could accuse Samsung of being out-of-touch with their latest social media driven ad campaign. Regardless of whose products you prefer and which flag you fly, so to speak, everyone with a sense of humor can enjoy the wit of Samsung's Apple mocking ads, which have been collected for convenience by The Verge .
