In checking out these Apple iPad Air deals on the Wal-Mart website , this “Internet Deals” and gadgets reporter on Examiner has been pondering exactly what I’d do with a new iPad Air tablet.

Blessedly, I already own an iPad 2 tablet, but I’d also put an iPad Air to good use, especially ones like the 16GB iPad Air with WiFi capabilities for $397, or the whopping 128GB iPad Air for $699, which comes in space gray or silver colors.

I’ve done just about everything with the iPad 2 I already own, from recording and uploading YouTube videos to turning the tablet into my own little laptop after pairing it with a compatible Bluetooth-enabled keyboard and using the Microsoft Mobile Office suite of software that allows me to “keep the party going” by using Microsoft Word and Excel whenever I want to access those files when I’m away from my MacBook Air.

Basically, getting an iPad Air would mean that as a user, we are taking our offices with us without having to sacrifice our work. I remember the day I soaked in the bathtub with my tablet in hand, and was still able to publish a breaking news story on Examiner about the Donald Sterling situation using my iPad to grab screenshots and publish the article that went on to see plenty of views – all without having to leave the tub on a Saturday morning.

Utilizing an iPad Air would mean more of the same productivity, perhaps with even more power, because as each new generation of tablet emerges, it usually comes with a whole lot more advanced features and goodies than ones from previous generations. At this point in my life, I’m so attached to my iPad that I only choose purses when I’m shopping that are big enough to accommodate them. I’ll hold up the purse and look for convenient side pockets that are secure enough to protect my tablet, and size it up in my mind, knowing automatically which ones have enough room for my lovely iPad. Now that’s love.

I know where my bread is buttered, and although I don’t take my iPad with me everywhere, perhaps with a slender new iPad Air – lighter than previous models – I’d carry that sucker more places. Even when the lights are out and it’s bedtime, I find it a whole lot more convenient to grab my iPad at my side on my nightstand and check my calendar, the latest current news events or to clear up last minute mail before I fall asleep than trying to drag out my laptop to take care of business.

So that’s why these new iPad Air deals are growing with popularity on Wal-Mart’s site. And if you see one that says, “This item is currently out of stock,” you can click the button for an alert when it's back in stock.
