How’s your car doing? How’s your driving? You probably say great to both. Well with Automatic, the truth will be told and you may be caught in a lie.
Automatic is an ingenious little device that plugs into your OBD port which is standard on all cars since 1996. You can check your cars compatibility at www.automatic.com .
It can tell you about your cars performance as far as mileage, fuel usage, fuel cost, etc. It can also tell you if you have hard starts, hard breaks and notify whomever you choose if it detects an accident. Once set up, will make an escalating beep when you exceed the speed limit, break heard or start hard.
So how do you review all of this data? Well you have 3 choices; iOS device, Android device or the Web. For this review purposes, it was tested on all three. Once paired with both devices, the tracking began instantly. You can see all of your trip data on either device, or by logging on to www.automatic.com and selection dashboard. (see picture for actual trip by the reviewer) There are even optional RECIPIES that can be added to your Automatic which include; automatically setting up a spreadsheet in Google Drive with all the data, as well as email alerts when your spouse leaves work or arrives home.
