Consumers who are on the hunt for the next release of the latest and greatest in smartphones might want to check out the latest iPhone 7 release date rumors. According to an April 9th iDigitalTimes post, Apple might be scrapping the iPhone 6s altogether, and move forward with an iPhone 7 release date instead. The article says "Apple [might be] skipping over the usual speed improvements to bring us yet another new hardware design. As Mail Online points out, ever since the Steve Jobs days Apple’s brought us a spec-focused upgrade every other year -- starting with the iPhone 3GS."
If they do skip the iPhone 6s launch, it isn't likely the Cupertino based company will suffer large revenue losses from it, since the Apple Watch release date is set for April 24th. Additional rumors say the iPhone 7 could feature Force Touch, which allows the device to differentiate between taps and hard presses. This will allow the iOS to respond to each input differently. "A contextual menu could appear depending on how hard you press, for example, or even zooming farther into a web page."
Another feature which may be available with the iPhone 7 finally arrives -- Wireless charging! This is of course, if speculation based off some acquired patents proves true. Either way, Apple fans will cherish their shiny new iPhone, or Apple watch, no matter which model arrives.
Will you be buying the Apple Watch later this month? What features are you most hoping to see on the next generation iPhone release? Do you think Apple will skip the 6s, and go straight to an iPhone 7 release date?
