The ABC news reported on July 9, 2013, that photos and videos made by a whistle blower from Golden Corral restaurant in Florida have gone viral on Reddit and YouTube.

The video exposed the unhygienic conditions of storing hamburger patties near trash dumpsters. The restaurant franchise is being investigated by local health authorities.

An employee of the restaurant, Brandon Huber, opened the YouTube video, saying, that his company likes get ready for inspections by

putting their food by the Dumpsters.

Next we see him showing raw hamburger patties sitting by the Dumpster, swarmed by flies and raw

ribs. He says on the video that it is disgusting for him and as an employee, working there for a long time; he didn't feel that is right.

The video on Youtube garnered more than 280,000 views and 2,500 comments. A viewer commented calling Huber as the Edward Snowden of the buffet business.

In its statement, Golden Corral said that food shown on the video was not served to customers and it was all destroyed within an hour. On his failure to follow food-handling procedures, the manager involved was terminated.

The statement maintained that Huber also helped throw out the food and following day, his father had offered to sell the video to the restaurant franchise owner for $5,000.
