Definitive Technology, the high-end home audio manufacturer has announced at CES 2015 its first-ever headphones, dubbed the Symphony 1.

"Symphony 1 embodies the precision and purposeful engineering that Definitive Technology is known for," said Joel Sietsema, director of brand management, Definitive Technology. "It delivers the very best noise cancelling experience available with its over-ear seal, closed-back design, and four dedicated noise-cancellation microphones. The Symphony 1 immediately drowns out surrounding noise so listeners can fully immerse themselves in remarkable sound. Whether traveling on a plane or enjoying a favorite track in the office, Symphony 1 delivers a uniquely exhilarating experience."

The headphones are designed with dark leather and an aluminum construction that features 50mm drivers and a built-in digital-analog converter. There are on-ear controls and include two built-in mics for use with phone calls.

The Symphony 1s are powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for up to 10 hours of playback with noise cancellation turned on. A leather carrying case rounds out the package with a soft travel pouch.

Consumers can expect to see them online as well as a variety of retailers, including Magnolia (Best Buy) in February for $399.
